1. Your agreement with The L Words

The L Words is the seller and provider of this website, ebook, companion workbook, and online reader. Your agreement for using these materials is with The L Words. By continuing to use the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

2. Access and payments

The online reader is free with an account. A one-time payment of $20 USD purchases the ebook PDF and companion workbook as downloads, with no expiry. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Any applicable taxes and the final payable total are shown at checkout.

3. Payments and refunds

The ebook PDF and workbook are sold by The L Words for a one-time price of $20 USD plus any applicable tax. Payments are processed securely by our card payment processor, which emails your receipt. There is no subscription or renewal.

All ebook and workbook sales are final. No voluntary refunds are offered. Non-waivable consumer rights and refunds required by applicable law or the payment provider remain unaffected. See our Refund Policy for details and download or payment help.

Download entitlement

Future downloads require a valid completed purchase on your signed-in account. Full refunds revoke that purchase’s access; partial refunds do not. Another valid purchase keeps access. Deleting your account removes future download access. Files already downloaded are not recalled.

4. Acceptable use and accounts

Keep your login credentials confidential and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not use the service unlawfully, commit fraud, send spam, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, probe security, scrape the service without permission, or interfere with others’ access.

5. Intellectual property

The L Words and its licensors retain ownership of the ebook, workbook, illustrations, narration, website, branding, and related intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read and use the materials for personal purposes. Do not resell, redistribute, or commercially reproduce them without permission. Rights granted by applicable law remain unaffected.

6. Educational content and availability

The materials are for general education only, not individualized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell any investment. No earnings or financial results are guaranteed. Your decisions remain your responsibility; seek advice from a qualified professional for your circumstances.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or because of third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, non-payment of an agreed payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Choosing not to pay is not a reason to restrict access to the free online reader.

8. Updates

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
