Ambassador Terms & Conditions

This is a draft program document and has not yet been legally reviewed. The Leverage Ambassador Program ("Program") is operated by The L Words.

1. Independent Affiliate Relationship

Ambassadors are independent marketing partners, not employees, agents, or business partners of The L Words. Nothing in this Program creates an employment relationship.

2. No Enrollment Fee

Joining the Program is free. There are no required purchases, no inventory, and no fees of any kind. There is no guarantee of earnings — commissions arise only from qualifying sales.

After confirming your account email and accepting these terms, enrollment and assignment of your unique referral code are automatic. No manual application approval is required. Referral tracking and qualifying commissions are processed automatically; payouts remain manual.

3. Commissions

• A commission of $5 (five US dollars) is earned for each completed purchase of the ebook + workbook bundle that is verified by the payment provider and attributed to the ambassador's referral link or discount code.
• No commission is earned for visits, clicks, free reading, free listening, incomplete purchases, or purchases made by the ambassador on their own account.
• Commissions are held for 14 days after payment as a safeguard for refunds, disputes, or fraud; after that they are approved.
• A commission is reversed if the related purchase is fully refunded or the buyer wins a payment dispute. Partial refunds keep the commission.

4. Payment Eligibility and Schedule

Commissions are paid manually by the administrator monthly, subject to a minimum balance of $25. A payment reference is recorded for every payout. Ambassadors are responsible for their own tax obligations under the laws of their country of residence.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Misleading or exaggerated income claims are prohibited.
• Spam, deceptive advertising, or placing referral codes in unethical sources is prohibited.
• Self-referrals (buying through your own link or code to earn commission) are prohibited and will not be credited.
• Altering brand materials or substituting non-official characters (Labor in red, Leverage in blue) is prohibited.

6. Required Affiliate Disclosure

Every promotional post must disclose the material affiliate relationship, for example: "I earn a commission if you purchase using my code," consistent with FTC guidance and similar regulations.

7. Use of Brand Materials

Official graphics, captions, and materials are provided in the Leverage Toolbox inside the ambassador dashboard. The correct title is The L Words (plural). Do not modify brand materials or replace the official characters.

8. Suspension and Termination

The L Words may suspend or terminate an ambassador who breaches these terms, including deactivating their discount code and withholding unapproved commissions.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Application data and referral performance are processed according to the Privacy Notice. Buyer identities and financial details are never shared with ambassadors.

10. Program Modifications

The L Words may modify commission structure, terms, or discontinue the Program with notice through the ambassador dashboard. Changes apply to commissions not yet approved as of the effective date.
